Your Photos
I like to see a range of photos to get an overall idea of the size and coloring of your subject, however I usually work from one single photo for the main pose. Good quality photos are imperative. If you have more than one subject you would like me to paint I prefer to see single photos of each subject along with a few of them together to see the size differences between them.

The Composite
Composites help visualize the final painting, I can place your subject in a different scene or on a neutral background.

Payment
O
nce you are happy with the composite, payment can be made very simply via Paypal or personal check. The majority of commissions are paid in full, however larger portraits can be paid with a deposit of half. The remainder to be paid when I complete the portrait. All payments must be cleared before I start.

Step by Step Progress
As soon as clients have made payment, your photo/composite will be added to the "New Work in Progress" tab in my album. If you have a specific deadline just let me know and I can arrange a gift voucher to be sent if I am unable to meet your required date. (In most cases, you will receive your finished portrait within 6 weeks from the date that you place the order.)

The Final Scan
Every customer is emailed a high resolution photograph of their portrait so they can make sure everything is correct. If clients feel they need any changes or alterations made, I am more than happy to do this for them.

The Delivery
Once the portrait is ready to send, I pack it carefully to keep your paintings safe in transit. I normally ship FedEx when applicable. If you are located in the Greater Chicagoland or Milwaukee area, pick up or delivery is also an option.

Delighted Customer!

Oil portraits are created for the purpose of being displayed. They put your most cherished memories in plain sight, and they give them a richness and texture only possible in a hand-painted work of art.
